Skin care: Obagi Nu-Derm System
Start date: 4/19/12
purchased from: premier health and wellness spa in Hallandale, Fl
Duration of treatment: 18 weeks
Goals: reduce hyper pigmentation, regulate acne, even skin tone
Description: Obagi Medical Skin Care has one simple reason why everyone falls in love with Obagi because it works and it works fast. Its wide variety of prescription strength skin care products repair your skin at the cellular level, which means wrinkles, sagging skin, hyperpigmentation, and acne do not stand a chance
I've heard nothing but spectacular reviews about this product line. It claims to completely transform the skin. I hope this will help in my constant battle with hormonal acne and the scars they leave behind. The cost is pretty hefty but considering the amount I spend in COVERING the problem, I might as well put in the effort to FIX it. I'll keep you guys posted with my progress.

Mac Hit the Pavement
Food + drinks + art = fun
Mac held an event at the Wynwood walls in Miami on March 27. The Wynwood walks are a cool place to view graffiti and cutting edge art from various artists. There were plenty of murals and spectacular live art to check out.
Eating vegetarian (well technically pescetarian....but thats another post) gets tricky at these sort of functions but Wynwood Kitchen provided enough Maduros (sweet plantain), shrimp skewers and margaritas to keep this girl happy.
I dug into the depths of my kit and created a look using blue brown pigment and my fave lip combo, up the amp lipstick and ample pink plushglass.
A good time was had by all, check out the pics.

Fotd: heroine dupe?
Doesn't it suck when you have to wash off a flawless face of makeup at the end of the night? If I could sleep in it without waking up with a massive zit, I would.

Haul #1
After watching a video from one of my favorite beauty vloggers Lipsh0ck , I couldn’t resist picking a few goodies from Sephora and MAC. Here they are:
•Guerlain Terracotta bronzing Powder in 08 ebony
The price is a bit steep at $50, but all the reviews say it’s worth it.
•MAC Kohl power eye pencil in feline
This is proclaimed to be the darkest most pigmented kohl liner produced by MAC. As a devout smolder fan, I was a bit skeptical at first. Having played with it a little, I can say it is infact pigmented and produces a sharper line than smolder. How it wears, we’ll see…
•NARS Blush Powder in Albatross
Nars has a reputation for amazing blushes. I’ve had my eye on this one for a while and finally took the plunge and purchased it. Can’t wait to use this to highlight
•Make Up For Ever Mat Velvet + in #70
Im already a fan of MUFE HD but decided to give this a try. I have oily skin so I cant wait to see how well this matte formula holds up
• Mac Prolongwear Concealer in NW40, NC50, NW 35
I loved the finish of this concealer in the video. I swapped this out with my studio finish concealer today for work and so far (10 hours later!) I'm impressed with the coverage and application. Formal review will come soon.
Have you tried any of these products? What do you think?
